Chayya Tea Leaf Ring

The creative design challenge was to translate the enriching experience of walking through the majestic beautiful, undulating tea plantations of Kerala. Graphic shapes of small tea leaves and branches were sawed out of sheet metal and soldered together in a repetitive way forming a broad ring. This reflects the pathway lines along the fields. Highly polished made in warm 24k gold vermeil reminding the wearer of the warm indian sun.
