Timeless Turbidites 2024
In Timeless Turbidites, I focused on the spectacular folds within the sandstone cliffs of Hartland Quay—silent storytellers of immense geological forces. Using predominantly hand-stitching, I contrasted stitch directions to guide the eye through the intricate rock formations, mirroring the interplay of sand, limestone, and mud. Working in a vertical format adds a sense of grandeur and structure, helping the viewer feel the immense power of these formations.
