Chris Alley - Wood Artisan creates beautifully proportioned pieces of furniture from carefully selected homegrown timbers, constructed using traditional joinery and finished by hand with natural oils and beeswax. He believes in good design refined to it's essence, balancing beauty and function, simplicity and intricacy. He combines the natural beauty, warmth and tactility of wood with a craftsman's skill and attention to detail. Influences: geometry, mid-century Scandinavian and Japanese design.

Focus:
Good design refined to it's essence, combining nature's pattern with craftsman's skill
