"Directory Member Services" means the services that may be made available by Crafts Council to Directory Members, in relation to the Directory, as detailed below and on the Site, the specification of which may differ for each Directory Member Category.
Crafts Council Directory Member Services
The Directory allows you to advertise and promote yourself as a maker or provider of crafts related services. Your Directory Membership provides you with an online profile, and on occasion, at the discretion of Crafts Council, inclusion of your details or Site Content in any Crafts Council print/digital publications, to promote yourself to Users.
Your Directory Membership Profile
Your Directory Membership online profile and inclusion of your details in any Crafts Council print/digital editions, where available, are considered to be promotional tools for you, and a means for you to obtain exposure for your work.
Such details will be made available to Users through your online profile on the Directory - showing your professional details (including name, contact(s), photographs of your work (projects), a written summary of your skill set, a CV, and relevant tagging to facilitate searching. These details can also be accessed in the following ways:
- 1. by a User; or
- 2. by you passing on Site access details, which may be in the form of a hotlink, or using the Site for another method as a means to promoting you.
As our Directory is a promotional tool, data included in these public profiles may be accessible by Users and/or the public via wide circulation or redistribution, and via our historical archives. Therefore you should never include any data on your online public profile that you would wish to remain private.
Crafts Council is not responsible for the content of the Directory, or the actions of Users in relation to the available content.
