Established in 1974, Milton Keynes Arts Centre (MKAC) is a multidisciplinary arts centre set in the historic grounds of Great Linford Manor Park and a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England. We specialise in co-developing projects with artists and communities in Milton Keynes that respond to the issues affecting people’s lives and help to empower often marginalised communities in the city.

We provide opportunities for diverse people to engage in the arts, to acquire new skills through working with artists, and to support health and well-being. We also hire our spaces out for meetings, weddings and other celebrations on a regular basis. We are seeking Events Assistants (casual) to support events at MKAC as well as across the city.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about the arts; have excellent interpersonal skills; a strong customer focus and a good level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills. MKAC treats all job applicants equally, regardless of class, age, disability, gender identity or gender expression, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or any other equality characteristic.

We particularly encourage applications from individuals who are underrepresented in the cultural sector. For a full job description please visit our website.
