Description
We are collaborating with the Chelsea Theatre to bring SIX new galleries to a new urban audience, to be installed in their foyer in March 2024 as part of their “Storytelling for a social purpose” programme of events.
Chelsea Theatre is an independent studio theatre located on the Kings Road in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. It presents, commissions, and produces material and works with the local community. The foyer at the theatre regularly hosts art exhibitions and events that are open to all. We are currently seeking artists to submit work around the Theme of Storytelling – your work will be selected to be installed in one of 6 new micro galleries in the foyer.
The galleries will be the same format – 35cm cubed with a glass front – and have an audience of humans 8cm tall within them to admire your work ! We hope this collab gives a unique opportunity to create or submit small scale, achievable works – to be displayed and seen by a large audience in central London – Work can be installation, sculpture or paintings.
Everything will be considered!
All works will be judged by a panel to be announced shortly.
