The Role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic potter to join us for a year-long residency. If you are ready to take your pottery practice to the next level and join a dynamic new organisation that is set to become a significant name in contemporary ceramics, apply today!
Tasks:
Over 12 months, you will:
• Contribute 20 hours/week assisting the studio and teaching programme. This includes mixing glazes, firing kilns, assisting students during classes and other studio tasks as needed.
• Carry out your own studio practice.
• Donate two pieces of work at the end of your tenure. One piece will form part of a permanent display, the other will be sold in the gallery to help us raise funds.
• Prepare artwork for a solo exhibition in our gallery to mark and celebrate your residency.

Candidates:
The ideal candidate will be a practicing artist working on their own projects. Formal training is not a requirement, and the position is open to aspiring potters with a strong passion for the craft as well as graduates considering a career in pottery and experienced potters seeking a supportive environment.
