Description
We are looking for a passionate Printmaker / Artist with considerable experience in either screen printing or relief printing (or both), and who has been part of or used a shared printmaking space in the past.
This position is open to all ages and would suit someone with flexible hours and time to commit to both their practice and the evolution and day-to-day running of a shared artist community and printmaking space.
About the role:
- 8-10 flexible hours a week in exchange for free use of fully equipped printmaking space
- Flexible, hybrid role
- Knowledge of screen printing and relief printing are a must

This role includes:
- Admin and handling requests and contacts from your 10 members
- Making sure the space is always left clean, tidy etc.
- Keeping an eye on equipment (hardware and consumables) for maintenance
- Helping to on-board new members
- Helping to grow our community of artists
In the Makers Barn you will find:
- Two large screen-printing beds (up to A0)
- One large relief press (up to A2)
- One small relief press (A3)
- Ample inking and creating benches for lino, engraving, collagraph and (soon to come) photo-etching
- Exposure unit (up to A1)
- Drying cabinet
- Soil association inks
- Wash-out booth
- Coating area
- An eco printing mini-shop, including soil association inks
