For the first time Amélie will be presenting a solo show during London Craft Week.
She will be launching a new line of luxury upholstery fabric hand-dyed in a biodegradable black derived from plant-based dyes.
Already known for her handmade ink textiles wall hangings and framed artwork, Amélie will showcase a new collection of artworks made of flax, processed by herself and hand-dyed using foraged materials.
Amélie's journey into natural pigments and inks began in 2019, following a severe reaction to a synthetic pigment powder. Determined to find a similarly unique colour with richness and depth, she sought to use only the purest materials and minimal resources. This dedication has culminated in her latest body of work.
