Following Collect Open's successful run at Somerset House in 2022, applications will soon open for artists, makers and collectives looking to showcase in 2023.

Collect Open provides makers with a unique platform to realise an ambitious project that takes their professional practice to a new level. Whether challenging perceptions on materiality, making a social or political statement or creating something altogether more personal, Collect Open proves to be a highlight at the annual Collect fair each year.

Join Crafts Council online on Wednesday 25 May from 11 - 1pm to find out about the application process and what it entails to showcase your work at Collect Open in 2023. We're keen to hear from makers, artists and collectives who want to push the boundaries of their specialism and exhibit their work alongside top galleries on an international stage.

We will be joined by wood artist and Collect Open exhibitor Robert George, who's large-scale oak sculptures stunned crowds in February 2022.

'Collect Open gave me the perfect excuse to push my work on to a new place, that I otherwise might not have visited.'

Book your place on eventbrite.

The session will take place on Zoom and attendees will receive a video link by email after making a booking.

Please note the session will be recorded.
