Re-Connecting explores the artist’s visual interpretation of recovery and resilience through sculpture, collaboration and installation.
Re-Connecting spans the gallery spaces of Down Arts Centre in Downpatrick NI, exploring visual elements of the artists rediscovery and reconnection with creativity with acquired brain injury.
Pieces explore reconnection with colour through making in textile and paper after a period with an absence of confidence in colour. Place and storytelling are integral to the exhibition with pieces taking inspiration from stories depicted in native folk songs.
