The Winners from last years show have put on a beautiful display of working. There are large scale hand coiled ceramic vessels flowing through into mesmerising oil paintings to a striking lockdown photographs performative series
The exhibition is being held in the Hastings Arts Forum which a few metres from the sea front. The bright light which shines from the sea adds a wonderful quality the work. After the successful of last years 'Rising Talent' exhibition the winners and runnings up have curated a wonderful show with some work created during the lockdown period. 'Rising Talent is an initiative with the specific aim of giving young and emerging artists an opportunity they would not necessarily get elsewhere. That is, the opportunity to show their work in a commercial gallery and the experience that goes along with that. We think this may be a unique opportunity as artists can exhibit at no charge and the work is for sale.' The work can be seen online via:
