Supporting craft businesses

Our team support and champion the UK’s vibrant and diverse craft businesses throughout every stage of their journey

  • Craft business
  • Resources

  • Makers attending Flourish 2019, our business development conference at Goldsmiths' Hall.

We believe in being ambitious, taking risks, and empowering makers to build a sustainable creative business. We combine insight from our research into the craft sector with decades of experience in delivering business training initiatives to support makers to develop, promote and sell their best work.

At the heart of our offer is the collective voice of our makers and partner organisations. We centre our work around the evolving needs, hopes and concerns raised by listening to makers and the wider sector in order for all creative businesses to flourish.

What we offer

Our one-to-one advice sessions are important to our makers and vital for delivering bespoke advice, information, and encouragement. Email the Business Skills team to find out more.

Our growing library of practical resources, our online events, attendance at fairs, exhibitions across the country, and contribution to panel discussions provides expert guidance on a wide range of subjects.

We can support organisations to provide business development workshops and masterclasses across the UK – get in touch if you would like to talk to us about this.
