Garden Delights, a collection of work made for Byard Art in Cambridge.

Bridget’s love of her allotment encourages understanding of how nature works, from flora and fauna relationships, to noticing growth rhythms in tangled foliage. Her textile millinery background’s ever present in her work, but she’s always coaxing something new out of the materials, from laying velvet under veiling for a furry bee bottom, to winding thread to make a tiny midge. These influences combine in a collection of artworks for ‘Garden Delights’ exhibition at Byard Art in Cambridge.
