For 25 years glass has enthralled me. I have 3 strands to my practice using techniques I have developed. Cast glass bowls are textured from fabrics in jewel like colours, fired with gold. Rocky sculptures are inspired by the beauty of stone bridges, harbour walls, dry stone walling, colours echoing the surrounding landscape, water and sky. ‘A dialogue at the threshold’ draws the viewer into my dense glass boxes by the allure of gold. There is an interplay between the exterior and the interior
