Glass Coral Vessels

Kiln-formed and hand painted glass vessels using fusing and slumping techniques. The bowls require two firings in the kiln, and surface pattern or texture is added when cold. Pattern is applied by hand-painting glass enamels before fusing, and some pieces have etched surfaces to create a satin-finish. The colours and forms of the vessels are reminiscent of vibrant and delicate corals and anemones found on reefs.
