I have been designing and making things in wood since graduating from Parhnam College in Dorset in 1996. I offer a bespoke design and make service for private clients as well as design consultancy for a select few UK retailers such as SCP and Heal’s. I strive to make pieces that have a quiet, timeless appeal; the objective being longevity through quality design and craftsmanship.


Jethro Dining Table and Bench launch for SCP Collection 2019

Although inspired by traditional barn tables, Jethro is a sophisticated design with beautifully crafted details, from facetted legs creating the illusion of lightness to a pegged rail. Made in solid ash with walnut detailing.

Design Guild Mark

The 'Smile' stool was awarded a Design Guild Mark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers in 2017. It was commissioned by Harvey Jones Kitchens and is manufactured by Sitting Firm Chairmakers Ltd.

Wood Awards 2016 Shortlist - Doors for 55 St James' Street

Sarah Kay won a competition to design two sets of very large doors which would create an 'unquestionable sense of arrival' at 55 St James'. Inspiration came from the local tradition of gentlemen's clubs, luxury craftsmanship and bespoke tailors.
