Tunnel Books

Tunnel books are constructed from a series of panels held together by a strip of concertina folded paper on each side. Each panel has a window cut out to allow the viewer to see through to the back, giving depth and perspective to the scene. Inspired by theatre stage sets they have multiple images on each layer. In various sizes, some small ones use recycled slide holders larger books are up to A5. I use printed ephemera as well as hand drawn and painted images to create the scenes.
