M(eat) et al

M(eat) et al (2016-17) jewellery series was created using meat, which is supported by metal and a range other materials, such as wood and leather. In 2016 Rachael aimed to kick-start her practice again after having focusing mainly on teaching since graduating from her MA in 2010. M(eat) et al explores whether jewellery, created partially from edible animal meat, creates a new form of bodily experience through wearing. Paired with this jewellery was the first piece in the Cutlery Comb series.
