"MOORLAND" COLOUR STORY
Our studio is near The River Thames and we are surrounded by beautiful moorlands and pastures that are wonderful to walk in. The colours change through each season and are inspirational in so many ways. The mixed media piece used on our new “Moorland” collection was painted on gypsum to create a chalky palette of Autumnal hues. The textures from the original piece which include fine carved lines, are greatly magnified and create wonderfully abstract detail on a large scale.
