I create conceptual sculptures, hangings and wall art inspired by various emotional responses. I use topics of personal identity, cultural issues and responses to landscape. Materials include mixed yarns, threads and fabrics, often with the addition of contrasting materials relevant to the theme. Techniques involve knitting, wrapping, felting and stitch, in which I also find process to be significant, referencing therapeutic practices. I also make detailed drawings as a contrasting medium.

Focus:
contemporary textile art and drawings
