The Plymouth Chairs
Commissioned by Plymouth University to complete seven chairs for their annual Graduation ceremonies. Designed for the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and senior academics during the Graduation Ceremonies at Plymouth University, the form of the chair is intended to display the flowing gowns, and to ensure the comfort of the occupants.

Similar to the Plymouth Chair, the Fitzwilliam Chair was acquired by the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, for their permanent collection.
Three large chairs featuring the Plymouth University’s heraldic shield. Made in English oak, planted at Longleat in 1740 and felled in 1980. The arms and back are cast and polished aluminuim.
