Bridget Bailey has a wealth of experience and an international reputation for her textile artworks, millinery, and masterclasses.

Nature’s always a source of Bridget’s inspiration and she’s earned a reputation for combining intriguing ideas and observations about it with her particular textile and millinery skills.

She studied textiles and made her first millinery collection in 1984 for Jean Muir. In 1989 she co-founded the Bailey Tomlin brand with clients, from Liberty to the V&A.


Workshop at Chateau Dumas

I am teaching specialist sinamay (abaca fibre) techniques at Chateau Dumas, starting on July 6th. Besides the classic dying and rolling skills I’ll be showing how to make some of my signature pieces including X-ray fruits.
