I tactually explore narrative patinas - use, repair, memory - seeking materials past their best for investigating process and materials through making. Using textile, ceramic and wood, I simultaneously embed, show and hide narrative.
Making artefacts and curatorial works, my interventions re-story the familiar, reconstruct the forgotten.
My AHRC PhD is titled RepairAbility: Repair-Making as Material and Social Action. I am Associate Lecturer on MA Designer Maker, Camberwell College of Arts.
