Cornwall is central to Jacqueline's ceramic work. Her thrown and hand-built ceramics are are made from Cornish clay from St Agnes and local materials. Inspired by the coastal environment where she lives and works, Jacqueline makes tableware for everyday, sculptural collections and one-off pieces including boats and large vessels. Her pared down aesthetic is inspired the Asian tradition, particularly Japan which resonates with the calm, quiet waters of her creekside studio.
