Waters Edge Tableware
Thrown tableware handmade using cornish clay from St Agnes and with glaze inspired by the creek.
I created this mottled blue/brown stoneware glaze to emulate the colours outside my studio window on Penpol Creek in south Cornwall. Balanced with satin white glaze my intention is to suggest the intersection of land and sea. I make and test all my own glazes.
When the tide is up, the water is just a few metres from my studio window.
